**Alappuzha, Kerala:** Five first-year MBBS students were killed and two others critically injured in a horrific car accident in Kalarkode, Alappuzha, Kerala. The accident occurred when a speeding bus collided with a car carrying the students, resulting in the car being severely crushed. Rescue workers had to use cutting equipment to extract the victims from the wreckage.
The deceased students, identified as Muhsin Muhammed, Ibrahim, and Devan (among others), were studying at Vandanam Medical College.
