**Ballia, Uttar Pradesh:** Two women died in separate incidents in Ballia district of Uttar Pradesh over the weekend. A 22-year-old woman, Neetu, from Sarangpur village, was electrocuted while attempting to unplug her mobile phone charger on Sunday. Despite being rushed to the Bansdih Primary Health Centre, she was declared dead on arrival. Bansdih police station in-charge Sanjay Singh stated that no complaint has been filed by the family.

Separately, a 50-year-old woman, Bindoo Devi, from Sikaria Khurd village, died on Saturday evening after sustaining serious injuries from a rice harvesting machine while working in a paddy field. Her husband, Radha Kishun Ram, filed a complaint against an unidentified harvester operator, leading to a case being registered under relevant sections. The body has been sent for post-mortem, according to Gawar police station in-charge Mulchand Chaurasia.
