**NEW DELHI, INDIA** – Students across India are in for a treat this December, with a plethora of holidays anticipated throughout the month. In addition to Christmas Day (December 25th), all schools will be closed on Sundays (1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th). Many schools also observe closures on the second and fourth Saturdays, further extending the break.

Furthermore, the winter holidays, typically falling between December and January, will add to the extended break, with specific school closure dates varying by state. While some states have already announced their holiday schedules, others are expected to follow suit within the next couple of weeks.
