**Malappuram, Kerala – December 2, 2024** – The Rasmi Film Society in Malappuram, one of Kerala’s oldest film societies, is gearing up for a year-long golden jubilee celebration starting this December. The festivities will feature a diverse range of events, including village cinema screenings, campus film festivals, film discussions, short film festivals, drama festivals, a film history exhibition, the establishment of film clubs and appreciation camps, a new film library, and the publication of a commemorative souvenir. The celebrations will culminate in a Malappuram film carnival in December 2025.
