**Chennai, [Date]:** Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin on Sunday distributed relief materials to those affected by recent heavy rains in Chengalpattu and Viluppuram districts.
In Chengalpattu, Stalin visited a relief camp set up at the Muthamizh Hall in Mamallapuram, inspecting the health check-ups being provided to the affected residents. He personally handed out relief kits containing rice, biscuits, mats, and blankets to flood victims. Ministers Anbarasan and Ponmudi, along with several MLAs and district officials, accompanied him.
Later, in Viluppuram district, he visited a relief camp at the Marakkanam Government Higher Secondary School, distributing essential supplies to those affected by the floods there. Ministers Sivashankar and other MLAs and officials were also present during this distribution.
On Saturday evening, Stalin also visited the Chennai Corporation’s command and control room, speaking with citizens about their concerns and assessing the flood situation in the city. He personally inspected ongoing drainage clearing operations across several areas of Chennai, including Perambur, Mylapore, and others, and also reviewed the corporation’s food distribution arrangements. Several ministers, the Mayor, and MLAs accompanied him during this inspection.
