**Brisbane, QLD –** The Brisbane Heat have secured their place in the Weber WBBL Final after a dominant nine-wicket victory over the Sydney Thunder at Allan Border Field. Chasing a modest 134, the Heat reached the target with 4.4 overs to spare, thanks to impressive performances from Georgia Redmayne (51*) and Jemimah Rodrigues (43).

Redmayne anchored the chase with a composed 41-ball innings, while Rodrigues provided a crucial boost before retiring hurt with a wrist injury. Charli Knott also contributed a valuable 19 runs. The Heat’s chase started with a bang, as Grace Harris smashed the first ball for six, but she was soon dismissed for 7.

Earlier, Sydney Thunder’s innings was rescued by a record-breaking 67-run eighth-wicket partnership between Hannah Darlington (40*) and Taneale Peschel (24*).
