**Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir –** Real Kashmir FC kicked off their I-League 2024-25 season with a commanding 2-0 victory over Rajasthan United FC at the TRC Ground on Sunday. Goals from Mohammad Inam (11’) and Elhadi Abdou Karim Samb (28’) secured the three points for the Snow Leopards, who finished fifth in the league last season.

Inam’s goal was a deflected effort following a low cross from Samb, while Samb himself doubled the lead by intercepting a back-pass and slotting the ball past the Rajasthan goalkeeper. Real Kashmir controlled the tempo for much of the match, relying on their wingers to create chances in the second half. While captain Kamal Issah missed a late opportunity, the home side comfortably saw out the victory. Rajasthan showed some late attacking intent, but it was too little, too late to prevent Real Kashmir’s opening day win.
