**Tehran, Iran –** The Iranian Meteorological Organization has issued a weather warning predicting widespread rain, snow, and strong winds across much of the country. The alert, reported by IRNA news agency, indicates that heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and strong winds are expected today (Thursday) in numerous provinces including Khuzestan, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, Bushehr, the northern Persian Gulf region, and parts of Fars, Kerman, Isfahan, Ilam, Lorestan, Yazd, East and West Azerbaijan, Zanjan, Qazvin, Alborz, Tehran, and central and Hamedan provinces. Hail and snowfall are also anticipated in susceptible areas and higher altitudes.

The forecast extends to Friday and Saturday, with strong winds and a significant temperature drop expected in the western half of the country on Thursday and the eastern half and central Alborz mountain range on Friday and Saturday. By Sunday, conditions are expected to improve in the northwest and west. The strongest storms are predicted to be focused in Mazandaran, Golestan, and Khorasan provinces on Friday, with continued precipitation in the Caspian Sea coastal provinces, North Khorasan, and Alborz mountains on Saturday and Sunday. The Persian Gulf and the Caspian Sea will experience rough conditions on Thursday and Friday.

Tehran is also expected to experience cloudy and foggy conditions today, with occasional rain, thunderstorms, and strong winds. The high in Tehran is expected to be 18°C and the low 13°C.
