**Bangalore, India –** Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has expanded its electric vehicle (EV) lineup with the launch of two new scooters: the Activa E and the all-new Qc1. This brings HMSI’s total number of EVs to 11. The company describes the Qc1 as a blend of fluid design and advanced engineering.

The Qc1 boasts several key features, including a 5-inch LED display, a Type-C USB outlet, and a large 26-liter under-seat storage box. Safety is enhanced with LED headlamps and taillamps, and clear indicators. The scooter runs on 12-inch wheels and is available in five colors: Pearl Serenity Blue, Pearl Misty White, Matt Foggy Silver Metallic, Pearl Igneous Black, and Pearl Shallow Blue.

Powered by a 1.5 kWh fixed battery pack, the Qc1 offers a range of 80 kilometers on a single full charge. Charging is facilitated by a 330-watt onboard home charger with auto-cut technology, taking approximately 4.3 hours for an 80% charge and up to 7 hours for a full charge. The top speed is 50 kmph.

Initially, the Qc1 will be available in Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore, with deliveries commencing in February 2025. Bookings for other select cities will open in February 2025 as well. Both the Activa E and Qc1 are manufactured at Honda’s plant in Narsapur, Bangalore.

Honda is offering a three-year or 50,000-kilometer warranty on both scooters, along with three free services in the first year and complimentary roadside assistance during the first year. Pricing for both scooters has yet to be announced.
