**Mumbai, India –** Mahindra & Mahindra has launched the XEV 9e, a new electric SUV coupe boasting a claimed range of up to 656 kilometers. Built on the company’s INGLO platform, the XEV 9e is priced starting at ₹21.90 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India). While specific variant pricing will be released in January 2025, only one variant will be available initially.

The XEV 9e features a sleek coupe-SUV design and a luxurious interior. Highlights include a triple 12.3-inch display setup (instrument cluster, touchscreen, and passenger display), multi-zone climate control, ventilated and powered front seats, a premium 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, and an augmented reality heads-up display.

Powertrain options include 59 kWh and 79 kWh battery packs, with both rear-wheel-drive (RWD) and all-wheel-drive (AWD) configurations available. The 175 kW DC fast charging capability allows for a 20% to 80% charge in just 20 minutes. The INGLO platform is designed for a 5-star Global NCAP safety rating, supported by features such as up to 7 airbags, electronic stability program (ESP), tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and Level 2 advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS).

The XEV 9e, with its 207 mm ground clearance, will compete with electric SUVs like the Tata Harrier EV and Tata Safari EV. Customer deliveries are expected to commence between February and March 2025.
