**KRISHNAGIRI, November 27, 2024** – Krishnagiri District Collector K.M. Sarayu conducted an inspection of the new daily vegetable market complex under construction at the town’s bus stand on Wednesday. The ₹1.10 crore project, funded under the Kalaignar Urban Development Scheme, will feature 77 shops. Collector Sarayu stressed the importance of structural quality and urged officials to expedite the project’s completion within the scheduled timeframe. The inspection also encompassed the bus stand’s water treatment plant, commuter shelters, public toilets, and sanitation facilities. Ms. Sarayu further reviewed food quality at the bus stand’s food stalls, instructing vendors to maintain high standards and utilize only unadulterated ingredients.
