Wed Nov 27 05:40:00 UTC 2024: ## AP to Release Mega DSC Syllabus, Aims for Teacher Recruitment Completion by Next Academic Year

**Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh:** The Andhra Pradesh School Education Department has announced the release of the syllabus for the much-anticipated Mega District Selection Committee (DSC) 2024 recruitment drive. The syllabus, available from November 27th, 11 AM onwards, aims to help aspiring teachers prepare for the upcoming examinations. The notification for the recruitment itself is expected in the coming months.

School Education Department Director Vijay Rama Raju stated that the syllabus will be accessible on the AP DSC website: https://apdsc2024.apcfss.in/.

Minister Nara Lokesh recently addressed the Andhra Pradesh Assembly regarding the DSC notification. He confirmed the government’s commitment to completing the recruitment process by the beginning of the next academic year. He clarified that the previous government’s February 12th, 2024, notification of 6100 posts was merely an election ploy, resulting in no actual appointments. Lokesh emphasized the current government’s dedication to the Mega DSC, initiated after the TDP, Jana Sena, and BJP coalition victory.

Addressing concerns about age limits, Lokesh stated that the government is considering increasing the age limit and that the matter is currently under inter-departmental review. He also assured that the notification will be released after addressing legal opinions and resolving any potential legal challenges, ensuring transparency and fairness. Lokesh emphasized the government’s commitment to completing the DSC process by the start of the next academic year, addressing past controversies and ensuring the process is free of irregularities.

The government is also working to finalize the reservation policy in light of the Supreme Court’s ruling on SC classification. A commission has been established to determine district-wise reservations based on population demographics, in line with Supreme Court guidelines. The government aims to resolve this matter swiftly to facilitate the timely release of the DSC notification.
