**Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh –** The Department of School Education, Andhra Pradesh, has released the syllabus for its highly anticipated 2024 District Selection Committee (DSC) recruitment drive. The syllabus, available for download at apdsc2024.apcfss.in, covers positions for Secondary Grade Teachers, School Assistants, TGTs in Special Education, TGTs, PGTs, Principals, and Physical Education teachers for classes 3-10.

While the mega DSC notification, initially expected on November 6th, is yet to be released, the official website indicates registration will begin shortly. According to HT Telugu, the notification will cover a total of 16,347 vacancies, including 6,371 Secondary Grade Teachers, 7,725 School Assistants, 1,781 TGTs, 286 PGTs, 52 Principals, and 132 Physical Education Teachers.

The announcement of the syllabus follows the release of the AP TET July exam results on November 4th, 2024, where 1,87,256 out of 3,68,661 candidates passed (50.79% pass rate). Andhra Pradesh Education Minister Nara Lokesh had previously announced the upcoming mega DSC notification alongside the TET results.
