**THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, November 27, 2024** – The Kerala Agricultural University (KAU) has released a Malayalam edition of its “Package of Practices Recommendations: Crops 2024,” aiming to improve accessibility for farmers. The publication, titled *Vila Paripalana Suparshakal 2024*, provides updated information on high-yielding varieties, sustainable practices, waste management, and machinery. Agriculture Minister P. Prasad emphasized the importance of KAU’s research directly benefiting farmers’ income.
Simultaneously, KAU unveiled a two-volume *Atlas of Kole Lands of Kerala*, offering a comprehensive study of the unique Thrissur-Ponnani paddy ecosystem. The Minister highlighted the Malayalam translation as a crucial step in bridging the language barrier and ensuring that the latest research reaches the state’s farming community. The publications were released in a ceremony attended by KAU officials and representatives from the Agriculture Department. The *Package of Practices* will be regularly updated.
