Wed Nov 27 03:36:47 UTC 2024: ## Mahindra to Unveil Two New Electric SUVs on November 26th

**Mumbai, India** – Mahindra & Mahindra is gearing up to significantly expand its electric vehicle portfolio with the launch of two new electric SUVs, the XUV 9e and the BE 6e, on November 26th. Ahead of the launch, the company has revealed key details about these upcoming vehicles.

Both SUVs will be built on Mahindra’s new INGLO platform, described as a scalable and modular architecture. They will offer a choice of 59kWh or 79kWh LFP (lithium iron phosphate) battery packs, boasting a fast charging capability of 20% to 80% in just 20 minutes using a 175kW DC fast charger.

Powering these vehicles is a compact three-in-one powertrain system combining the motor, inverter, and transmission. Motor output will range from 231hp to 286hp for the rear-axle-mounted motor, with the all-wheel-drive (AWD) BE 6e expected to offer higher power output due to an additional front-axle motor. While Mahindra has not yet disclosed the driving range, the company emphasizes the INGLO platform’s lightweight design and high-density battery technology, promising optimal space utilization and enhanced driving comfort.

Mahindra highlights INGLO’s safety features, including ultra-high-strength boron steel and a reinforced frontal structure. The low-center-of-gravity battery placement contributes to improved stability and handling. The platform also incorporates a best-in-segment semi-active suspension system, high-power steering, and brake-by-wire technology for an enhanced driving experience. Further details regarding pricing and specific features will be revealed at the official launch event.
