Tue Nov 26 15:15:28 UTC 2024: ## Indian Automakers Gear Up for Major Launches in Next Two Weeks
**New Delhi, India** – The Indian automotive market is set for a flurry of new model reveals over the next two weeks, with major players Mahindra & Mahindra, Honda Cars India, and Audi India unveiling highly anticipated vehicles.
Mahindra will lead the charge on November 26th with the unveiling of its first born-electric SUVs, the XUV9e and BE.6e, built on the new INGLO platform. Both SUVs are expected to offer two battery options (60kWh and 79kWh), with the larger battery promising a range of approximately 450km (WLTP). The BE.6e will feature a cockpit-inspired interior with dual infotainment screens, while the XUV9e boasts a futuristic triple-screen dashboard.
Honda will follow on December 4th with the launch of the all-new third-generation Amaze. The updated model boasts enhanced styling, a more premium interior, and upgraded technology, including a possible ADAS suite – a significant addition to its segment. While retaining the familiar 1.2L petrol engine with manual and CVT automatic transmission options, the Amaze’s exterior will incorporate design cues from the Civic and Elevate models.
Audi India is already accepting bookings (Rs 2 lakh token) for its facelifted 2024 Q7 SUV, set for launch on November 28th. The updated Q7 features a redesigned hexagonal grille, new LED headlamps reminiscent of the Q6 e-tron, and innovative laser diode DRLs. Performance remains strong, with the 3.0L V6 turbo-petrol engine delivering 340bhp and 500Nm of torque, achieving 0-100km/h in 5.6 seconds and a top speed of 250km/h.
