**Bhopal, India** – Bhopal is gearing up for a series of events to commemorate Constitution Day. A state-level function will be held at Ravindra Bhavan’s Hansdhwani auditorium with Governor Mangubhai Patel as the chief guest. The celebrations will also remember prominent figures from the state.
A key highlight is a “Constitution Day Padayatra” (march) involving approximately 3,000 youths. Organized by the Sports and Youth Welfare Department, the march will see participation from the Education Department, National Service Scheme, and Nehru Yuva Kendra. Similar marches are planned nationwide. Registration for events is mandatory via the My Bharat portal, which will also host details of the “Youth Festival” activities.
Another significant event is the “Vikasit Bharat Young Leader Dialogue,” a state-level competition offering selected youths the opportunity to interact with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. District and state-level events under the Yuva Mahotsav 2025 will further showcase youth talent. These initiatives aim to inspire young people towards India’s goal of becoming a developed nation by 2047.
The year-long celebrations, in accordance with the central government’s directives, fall under the “Hamara Samvidhan – Hamara Swabhiman” campaign, marking the 75th anniversary of the Constitution’s enactment. Events are scheduled across urban and rural areas, encompassing government offices, schools, colleges, and public institutions. A collective reading of the Preamble to the Constitution is also planned, encouraging participation from both government employees and the public. Participants can upload photos of the event to receive a digital certificate via the My Bharat portal.
