**Mumbai, India** – Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI) has secured the exclusive media rights for all Asian Cricket Council (ACC) tournaments from 2024 to 2031, the company announced today. This deal represents a significant increase of more than 70% over the previous rights cycle (2016-2024), valued at approximately $62 million, highlighting the surging global interest in ACC events.

The eight-year agreement grants SPNI comprehensive coverage across television, digital, and audio platforms for all men’s and women’s Asia Cups, as well as Under-19 and emerging teams tournaments. This acquisition strengthens SPNI’s already substantial cricket portfolio, which includes existing rights for England, Sri Lanka, and New Zealand matches.

“This significantly enhances our cricket calendar for the next eight years,” said Gaurav Banerjee, MD & CEO of SPNI. The ACC echoed this sentiment, stating the partnership will ensure comprehensive and innovative coverage of its marquee tournaments. The financial details of the new agreement were not disclosed.
