**Mumbai, India** – A four-year-old video of BJP MP Kangana Ranaut predicting the downfall of former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has gone viral, coinciding with the BJP-led Mahayuti alliance’s landslide victory in the 2024 state assembly elections.

In the clip, Ranaut, referencing the demolition of a part of her Mumbai home by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) during the COVID-19 pandemic, warned Thackeray: “Uddhav Thackeray, do you think that you along with the film mafia broke my house and took big revenge? Today my home is broken, tomorrow your ego will be broken. This is the wheel of time. Remember this. It doesn’t always remain the same.”

The video’s resurgence comes as the Mahayuti alliance has secured a comfortable majority, winning over 200 seats. The opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi, of which Thackeray is a member, is faring poorly. Ranaut’s earlier clash with the Thackeray government stemmed from her controversial tweets comparing Mumbai to Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, leading to the BMC demolition which was later deemed “legal malice” by the Bombay High Court.

Celebrations erupted at the residence of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and the BJP’s Mumbai office following the projected victory. The Mahayuti’s success is being seen by some as a validation of Ranaut’s earlier prediction.
