**TIRUPATI, November 22, 2024** – The 29 Andhra Battalion of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) celebrated its annual NCC Day on Friday at its Tirupati headquarters with a series of community initiatives. The day’s events began with a blood donation camp, where cadets generously donated blood. This was followed by a tree plantation drive led by Group Commander Colonel Satendar Dahiya, promoting environmental awareness. A cleanliness drive, part of the ‘Swachchata Abhiyan’ (Cleanliness Mission), was also conducted, with cadets cleaning the NCC Nagar premises under the supervision of Commanding Officer Colonel Manish Astana and Subedar Major S.V. Subba Reddy. The celebrations further included an alumni meet, welcoming former cadets back to participate in the day’s activities.
