**Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, November 23, 2024** – Rebekah Drame, Consular Chief of the U.S. Consulate in Hyderabad, addressed the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC) in Vijayawada on Friday regarding US business and tourist visa processing. The seminar, held at Efftronics Systems Private Limited, focused on streamlining the application process and highlighting the strong US-India relationship.
Drame emphasized the importance of honesty in visa applications and noted efforts to reduce processing times due to increasing demand. She also spoke about the growing trade, economic, social, and people-to-people ties between the two countries. The event also featured presentations from Jeanne Sokolowski, Chief of the Deputy Consular Information Unit, and Aishwarya Rawat, U.S. Consulate General Supervisor.
