PUTTAPARTHI, INDIA – Sethu Raman Panchanathan, director of the National Science Foundation (NSF), urged young people to cultivate leadership qualities and find solutions to the many challenges facing modern society. He made these remarks at the prestigious Sathyasai University’s 43rd convocation ceremony held Friday at Prasanthi Nilayam in Puttaparthi.
Panchanathan, the chief guest, awarded gold medals and doctorates to graduating students. He emphasized the importance of adapting to changing times and highlighted that unwavering commitment leads to success. He lauded the Sathyasai University’s unique blend of humanistic values, spirituality, and modern science, creating a strong educational foundation.
A total of 21 students received gold medals, 13 received doctorates, and 463 received degrees. Following the ceremony, Panchanathan was felicitated by R.J. Ratnakar, the Managing Trustee of the Sathyasai University trust.
