**Hyderabad, November 22, 2024** – Two lorry drivers sustained serious injuries in a head-on collision near Kondagattu in Jagtial district, Telangana, early Friday morning. Devilal and Veeraiah were trapped in the wreckage after a cotton lorry traveling to Gujarat collided with a marble lorry en route from Rajasthan to Karimnagar.

The accident, which occurred around 4:45 a.m., resulted in the complete destruction of both lorry cabins. Police suspect driver fatigue, possibly one of the drivers falling asleep at the wheel, as the cause. Local police and earth movers were required to free the trapped drivers, who were then transported to Jagtial government hospital. Their condition is currently reported as serious.
