**New Delhi, November 22, 2024** – Delhi Police’s Crime Branch announced the dismantling of an international drug trafficking ring on Wednesday, resulting in the arrest of two individuals, including a Nigerian national. The operation yielded a significant seizure of methylamphetamine (MDMA) valued at approximately ₹4 crore.

According to Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime Branch) Sanjay Bhatia, the drugs were smuggled into the country via courier services. The cartel’s distribution network extended beyond Delhi-NCR, reaching states like Himachal Pradesh and Goa. A case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act has been registered against the two arrested suspects. Investigations are ongoing to further dismantle the network and identify other individuals involved.
