**New Delhi, [Date]** – The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) have joined forces to enhance commerce-based skills among Indian students, particularly within the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the two organizations will see the development and implementation of specialized courses designed to meet industry demands.

The collaboration will leverage ICAI’s expertise in accounting and finance, providing input on curriculum development, study materials, training modules, and career guidance. Joint awareness programs will be conducted for school principals and teachers across the country to promote these new courses and highlight their career benefits. CBSE will also undertake teacher training initiatives to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum.

ICAI President, CA Ranjeet Kumar Agarwal, stated that the partnership aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional requirements, equipping students with industry-relevant skills and improving their employability. This initiative builds on ICAI’s existing network of 85 MoUs with various educational institutions. The program is expected to significantly impact the career prospects of commerce students nationwide.
