**Jaipur, Rajasthan:** The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) will release a recruitment notification on November 25th for 830 Junior Engineer (JEN) positions across various departments. This was announced by RSSB Chairman Alok Raj.

The vacancies are distributed across several departments including Public Works Department, Water Resources Department, Public Health Engineering Department, and the Department of Local Self-Government. Of the total positions, 730 are for non-scheduled areas and 100 for scheduled areas. The recruitment examination is scheduled for next year, with results and appointments to follow swiftly thereafter.

This announcement comes amidst protests concerning the recruitment process for the Panchayati Raj Department. While the RSSB’s notification covers 830 positions, the Panchayati Raj Department has only released a notification for 185 JEN positions, sparking protests from aspiring candidates who claim that 281 additional posts remain unfilled. Protesters cite the significant backlog of vacant positions over the past three years and urge the government to expedite the recruitment process for all vacancies simultaneously.
