Koderma, Jharkhand – Sub-Inspector Shailendra Singh has been suspended from his post for failing to perform his duties properly during the counting of votes at the Koderma Assembly constituency. The incident occurred Friday at the counting center located at the Polytechnic College.
According to reports, after a meeting with election officials, the vehicles of the Koderma District Collector (DC) and Superintendent of Police (SP) Anudeep Singh approached the main gate. SI Singh, who was on duty at the gate, failed to stop or check any of the vehicles, including those of the DC and SP.
SP Singh immediately stopped his vehicle and reprimanded SI Singh for not following Election Commission orders mandating vehicle checks at the counting center. Singh was subsequently suspended.
