**Hamirpur, Uttar Pradesh:** A tragic road accident claimed the lives of a brother-in-law (devar) and sister-in-law (bhabhi) in Hamirpur on Thursday, November 21st. Vikram Singh (30) and his sister-in-law, Neetu Devi, were traveling by motorbike to attend a funeral in Mahoba when a speeding private bus collided with their bike near Churaha village. Both were thrown from the bike and died instantly.
The victims, residents of Lidaupur village in Jalaun, were on their way to Mahoba to attend the funeral of Neetu Devi’s maternal nephew. Police arrived on the scene, seized the bus, and sent the bodies for post-mortem. The bus driver is currently being sought by the police.
Neetu Devi is survived by her husband, Abhilaksh Singh, and three children aged 11, 7, and 13, who are devastated by their mother’s sudden death. Vikram Singh, who was unmarried and worked in agriculture, is also mourned by his family. Zaria police station head, Bharat Kumar, confirmed the details and the ongoing investigation into the accident.
