**NEW DELHI –** Xiaomi has launched the Redmi A4 5G in India, marking its global debut and aiming to bring 5G technology to a wider market. The budget-friendly smartphone, priced starting at ₹8,499, boasts impressive specifications for its price point.
According to Anuj Sharma, Chief Marketing Officer at Xiaomi India, the Redmi A4 5G underscores the company’s commitment to making 5G accessible to all Indians. The device features the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, a first in its segment, ensuring smooth performance. It also includes up to 8GB of RAM (4GB + 4GB expandable), UFS 2.2 storage, and a large 6.88-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Eye comfort is prioritized with TÜV Low Blue Light and Flicker-free certifications.
The Redmi A4 5G also features a 50MP dual rear camera system with 4-in-1 pixel binning and a 5MP front camera. A 5160mAh battery with 18W fast charging (with a 33W charger included) promises all-day usage. The device is available in Starry Black and Sparkle Purple and comes in 4GB+64GB (₹8,499) and 4GB+128GB (₹9,499) variants.
