Thu Nov 21 11:14:04 UTC 2024: ## 174,316 Candidates Called for UP Police Constable Document Verification and Physical Tests

**Lucknow, [Date of Publication]** – The Uttar Pradesh Police has announced that 174,316 candidates who successfully cleared the written examination for the constable recruitment will proceed to the next stage: Document Verification (DV) and Physical Standard Test (PST). The DV and PST are scheduled for the third week of December 2024. Candidates who clear this stage will then be called for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) in the third week of January 2024.

Candidates are advised to prepare their documents in advance. Required documents include original and attested photocopies of:

* Original photo ID with attested photocopy
* Original UP Domicile Certificate with attested photocopy
* Original OBC/Category certificates (if applicable) with attested photocopies (certificates must be in the format specified in the advertisement)
* Original High School (10th) certificate and marksheet with attested photocopies
* Original certificate of two years’ service in the Territorial Army (if applicable) with attested photocopy
* Original NCC ‘B’ certificate (if applicable) with attested photocopy

Physical standards will also be checked during the DV and PST rounds. Minimum height requirements are 168 cm for General, OBC, and SC male candidates (160 cm for SC male candidates), and 152 cm for General female candidates (147 cm for ST female candidates). Chest measurements are also specified.
