**Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh – November 21, 2024** – The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) today announced the results of the highly anticipated UP Police Constable recruitment exam. A total of 174,316 candidates have qualified out of nearly 48 lakh applicants who took the exam in August 2024.

Candidates can access their results using their registration number and date of birth. This written exam was the first stage in the selection process to fill 60,244 constable positions.
Those who cleared the written exam are now eligible to proceed to the next stage: Document Verification and Physical Standard/Efficiency Tests (DV/PST/PET). The DV/BPST is scheduled for the third week of December 2024, followed by the PET in the third week of January 2024.
The UPPRPB also released the cut-off marks alongside the results. Further details regarding individual candidate marks will be released after the completion of the entire recruitment process. The board emphasized that the number of qualified candidates (approximately 2.5 times the number of vacancies) reflects the rigorous selection process and adherence to reservation norms.
The large number of applicants underscores the high demand for these positions within the Uttar Pradesh Police force. The UPPRPB has urged successful candidates to prepare diligently for the upcoming physical tests.
