**Lucknow, November 21, 2024** – The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) today released the results for the highly anticipated UP Police Constable Exam 2024, announcing that 174,316 candidates have advanced to the next stage. The exam, held in August, saw over 48 lakh applicants vying for 60,244 constable positions. This makes it one of the largest recruitment drives in India.

The UPPRPB website (uppbpb.gov.in) is hosting the results. Candidates can access their scorecards by logging in with their registration number and date of birth. The normalized scores, accounting for variations across different exam shifts and reservation provisions, resulted in approximately 2.5 times the number of vacancies being selected for the next phase.

Those progressing to the next stage will participate in the Physical Endurance Test (PET) and document verification (DV) in the third week of December. Further details regarding the venue, date, and time for the PET and DV will be published on the UPPRPB website.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had previously hinted at the October release date via X (formerly Twitter). This massive recruitment drive significantly strengthens the Uttar Pradesh Police force.
