**GOA, INDIA –** India’s public broadcaster, Prasar Bharati, is poised to launch its long-awaited streaming service at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa on November 20th. The platform, developed over the past year by RailTel and leveraging AWS cloud services, will offer a vast library of content from Doordarshan and All India Radio, alongside live TV channels, including sports coverage, and exclusive commissioned programming.
The service, whose name and logo will be unveiled at the launch event by Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, will initially be free, ad-supported (AVOD).
