**Visakhapatnam, November 21, 2024** – Manoj K. Sahoo has been appointed as the new Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of Waltair, the Railway Board announced Wednesday. Mr. Sahoo, previously the Additional Divisional Railway Manager (C) at Waltair, assumed his new role immediately. This appointment follows the arrest of the former DRM, Saurabh Prasad, by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in Mumbai on bribery charges. Prasad was allegedly caught accepting a bribe of ₹25 lakh. Mr. Sahoo will serve as DRM until a permanent replacement is appointed.
