**Mumbai, Nov. 22:** Exit polls for the recently concluded Maharashtra Assembly elections paint a picture of a close contest between the two major alliances. While some predict a victory for the BJP-led Mahayuti alliance, others forecast a win for the Congress-led Maha Vikas Aghadi. Voter turnout was approximately 65%.

The results vary widely across different agencies. News18-Matrix predicts 150-170 seats for Mahayuti and 110-130 for Maha Vikas Aghadi. P-MARQ forecasts a narrower margin, with 137-157 seats for Mahayuti and 126-146 for Maha Vikas Aghadi. Chanakya Strategies projects 152-160 seats for Mahayuti and 130-138 for Maha Vikas Aghadi.

However, People’s Pulse offers a more decisive prediction, giving Mahayuti 175-195 seats and Maha Vikas Aghadi only 85-112. In contrast, Electoral Age predicts a Maha Vikas Aghadi victory with 150 seats to Mahayuti’s 118. Poll Diary gives Mahayuti 122-186 seats and Maha Vikas Aghadi 69-121 seats.

Republic TV’s exit poll mirrors P-MARQ’s, while LokShahi Marathi Rudra predicts a very close race with Mahayuti at 128-142 seats and Maha Vikas Aghadi at 125-140. SAS Group’s exit poll favors Maha Vikas Aghadi (147-155 seats) over Mahayuti (127-135 seats). Bhaskar Reporters also predicts a Maha Vikas Aghadi win.

The “Poll of Polls” averages the results, giving Mahayuti 146 seats and Maha Vikas Aghadi 129 seats. All polls suggest a significant number of seats for “others”.

These figures are purely predictive and the official results will be declared on November 23rd after the vote count is complete.
