**London, UK** – Jaguar has launched a complete brand overhaul, unveiling a new logo and brand identity as it transitions exclusively to electric vehicles. The rebrand, created internally, features a modernized wordmark blending upper and lowercase letters, a circular logo incorporating elements of the wordmark, and an updated version of the iconic leaping jaguar emblem.
The new branding, described by Jaguar as “exuberant modernism,” aims to signal a fresh start for the company. Jaguar’s Managing Director, Rawdon Glover, stated that the rebrand is a “complete reset” designed to “reclaim its originality and inspire a new generation.”
The launch was accompanied by an advertisement that received considerable online mockery for its lack of featured vehicles. Even Tesla CEO Elon Musk quipped on X (formerly Twitter), “Do you sell cars?” Jaguar responded with an invitation to an event in Miami in December.
The rebrand is the latest in a series of similar moves by automotive companies embracing electric vehicles, following similar efforts from brands like Citroën and Volkswagen. Jaguar’s new concept car showcasing the rebranding will be unveiled at Miami Art Week in December.
