These changes, approved by the PGA Tour Policy Board and developed in collaboration with the Player Advisory Council (PAC), address player feedback gathered throughout 2024.

Key adjustments include modifications to field sizes, particularly for events with limited daylight, ensuring more rounds are completed on schedule. These changes, along with refinements to the FedExCup points system, will take effect in 2025 and 2026.
