**New Delhi, November 20** – The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the dates for its Class 10 and 12 board examinations for 2025, a full 86 days ahead of schedule. The exams will begin on February 15th, with Class 10 commencing with English and Class 12 starting with Entrepreneurship. Both exams will run from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm.

This marks a significant change from the 2024 schedule, which was released only 23 days prior. Approximately 44 lakh students from 8,000 schools across India and abroad are eligible to sit for the exams. Students must maintain at least 75% attendance to be eligible, though exceptions may be made under special circumstances.

Practical exams, internal assessments, and project work for regular schools will begin on January 1st, while winter-bound schools will conduct these from November 5th to December 5th.

The date sheet is available for download on the official CBSE website, cbse.gov.in. Meanwhile, the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has also announced its board exam dates, which will run from February 24th to March 12th.
