Wed Nov 20 23:10:00 UTC 2024: ## Bulls Surge Past Pistons in Fourth Quarter Thriller

**Detroit, MI** – Zach LaVine exploded for 16 fourth-quarter points, leading the Chicago Bulls to a 122-112 victory over the Detroit Pistons on Monday night. The game remained a tight contest until the final period, tied at 95 with just under nine minutes remaining. However, a decisive 13-2 run, fueled by LaVine’s hot shooting, gave the Bulls a commanding lead they wouldn’t relinquish. LaVine finished with 25 points, hitting six three-pointers in the fourth quarter after a relatively quiet first three.

Nikola Vucevic paced the Bulls with 29 points and 12 rebounds, while Coby White added 25. Cade Cunningham led the Pistons with 26 points and 10 assists, and Malik Beasley contributed 21.

Despite a strong performance from Cunningham and a significant edge in offensive rebounds (16-10), the Pistons couldn’t overcome the Bulls’ scorching three-point shooting. Chicago connected on 23 of 46 three-point attempts (50%), including a blistering 7 of 15 in the final quarter. Conversely, Detroit struggled from beyond the arc, hitting only 34% of their attempts.

A key stretch in the third quarter saw the Bulls capitalize on a lapse in Pistons’ defensive focus, extending their lead to double digits. While the Pistons showed resilience throughout the game, their inability to contain Chicago’s perimeter shooters proved to be their undoing.

The Bulls continue their road trip in Milwaukee on Wednesday, while the Pistons travel to Charlotte for a Thursday matchup.
