**KOLKATA, INDIA (November 21, 2024)** — West Bengal paid tribute to legendary music composer Salil Chowdhury on the centennial of his birth with a star-studded musical concert. The event, organized by the Bengali musical duo Sourendro-Soumyajit and the Techno India Group, featured a diverse range of Chowdhury’s compositions, spanning Bengali classics and iconic Hindi film songs.

A stellar lineup of artists including Iman Chakraborty, Ujjaini Mukherjee, Somlata Acharyya Chowdhury, Lagnajita Chakraborty, Dohar, Parambrata Chatterjee, Durnibar Saha, and Saikat Biswas performed beloved songs such as “Runner,” “Na Jeo Na,” and “O Sajna.” The concert also included a recitation of one of Chowdhury’s celebrated poems by actor Parambrata Chattopadhyay.
