**New Delhi, India** – Xiaomi has launched its latest budget smartphone, the Redmi A4 5G, in India. Priced at just ₹8,499, the device offers users a compelling combination of 5G connectivity and a range of impressive features.

The Redmi A4 5G boasts a large 6.88-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a feature typically found in much more expensive phones. While the peak brightness of 600 nits might present challenges in direct sunlight for users with sensitive eyes, the phone includes an Eye Protection feature to mitigate this.

Powering the device is a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 5G chipset, coupled with 8GB of RAM (expandable by 4GB virtually) and 128GB of internal storage (expandable up to 1TB via microSD card). Photography is handled by a dual rear camera setup, featuring a 50MP AI main camera.
