Wed Nov 20 11:30:00 UTC 2024: ## Pandya Reclaims Top T20I All-rounder Spot, Varma Makes Massive Ranking Leap

**Mumbai, India** – Hardik Pandya has returned to the top of the ICC T20I all-rounder rankings, while Tilak Varma has made a stunning leap into the top 10 batsmen, climbing an impressive 69 places. The latest ICC rankings reflect the strong performances of Indian players in the recent series against South Africa.

Pandya’s resurgence to the number one spot, his second time achieving this feat, comes after a stellar series where he outperformed Liam Livingstone (England) and Dipendra Singh Airee (Nepal). His consistent performance also saw him claim the top position at the end of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup earlier this year. His contributions in the South Africa series included a crucial 39 not out in the second match and economical bowling figures of 1/8 in three overs during the series-clinching fourth match, leading India to a 3-1 victory.

Varma’s meteoric rise to third place in the T20I batting rankings is equally remarkable. His player-of-the-series performance, including two centuries and a total of 280 runs against South Africa, propelled him up the charts, surpassing even captain Suryakumar Yadav who dropped to fourth. Sanju Samson also saw a significant jump, climbing 17 places to 22nd.

Other notable movers include Australia’s Adam Zampa and Nathan Ellis in the bowling rankings, while India’s Arshdeep Singh moved up three places to ninth, achieving a career-best ranking. Adil Rashid remains the number one ranked T20I bowler.
