**Salem, Tamil Nadu – November 19, 2024** – Inflow into the Stanley Reservoir in Mettur has decreased, officials reported Tuesday. The inflow dropped to 9,542 cusecs, down from 10,449 cusecs on Monday. Consequently, the water discharge from the dam has been reduced. Currently, 1,000 cusecs are being released for delta irrigation, a decrease from 2,000 cusecs the previous day. Discharge for canal irrigation remains at 500 cusecs.

The dam’s water level stands at 107.44 feet, against its full capacity of 120 feet. Storage currently sits at 74.82 tmc ft, compared to its full capacity of 93.47 tmc ft.
