**Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh:** The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UP Board) has announced the examination schedule for the High School and Intermediate examinations. The exams will commence on February 24th, 2025, and conclude on March 12th, 2025, spanning a total of 12 days. This follows the board’s successful completion of last year’s exams within the same timeframe.
The exams will be conducted in two shifts. The board aims to complete the evaluation process swiftly after the exams, aiming to be among the first to finish amongst other state boards. This expedited schedule follows a proposal submitted to the government to hold the examinations after the Kumbh Mela, specifically after the final bathing festival of Mahashivratri, to avoid any potential logistical conflicts with the large influx of pilgrims.
The 2024 examinations were held from February 22nd to March 9th, with evaluation completed by March 30th and results declared by April 20th. The board anticipates a similar timeline for the 2025 results. The decision to schedule the exams post-Kumbh Mela reflects the board’s consideration for the significant religious event and the expected large-scale participation.
