Mon Nov 18 16:55:11 UTC 2024: ## UP Board Exams 2025 Likely Delayed Due to Maha Kumbh

**Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh:** The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) is gearing up for the 2025 UP Board examinations, but a potential delay is looming due to the Maha Kumbh Mela. While preparations are underway, including the installation of CCTV cameras at exam centers to ensure fair conduct, the massive religious gathering is expected to impact the exam schedule.

The Maha Kumbh, starting January 13th and culminating with the final Shahi Snan on February 26th, is anticipated to draw immense crowds across the state. This has led to speculation that the UP Board exams, originally expected around February, will now commence after February 26th. Over 54,38,597 students are registered for the exams this year.

Although no official announcement has been made by the UPMSP, the potential delay could also affect the release of results, which were declared on April 20th last year. Students are advised to monitor the official website (upmsp.edu.in) for updates. Last year’s exams were held from February 22nd to March 9th.
