**RAMALLAH, WEST BANK** – Israeli forces conducted overnight raids across the occupied West Bank, arresting at least 12 Palestinians, including children and former political prisoners, according to Palestinian sources. The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society and the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs reported the arrests in multiple governorates, including Hebron, Qalqilia, Jenin, Ramallah, Tubas, and Tulkarem.
The raids involved the storming and searching of numerous homes, resulting in property damage and interrogations of numerous Palestinians. These actions follow a pattern of escalated arrests since October 7th, 2023, which Palestinian sources describe as the start of a “genocide and comprehensive aggression.”
The reported 11,700+ arrests in the West Bank since October 7th, do not include the unknown number of arrests in the Gaza Strip, where ongoing conflict and a siege hamper accurate data collection. The Palestinian groups condemned the ongoing arrests as a systematic policy of the Israeli occupation forces.
