**London/Los Angeles –** Peacock’s highly anticipated adaptation of Frederick Forsyth’s classic thriller, “The Day of the Jackal,” premiered this week, starring Eddie Redmayne as the titular assassin. The series, directed by Brian Kirk (“Game of Thrones”) and written by Ronan Bennet (“Top Boy”), promises a gripping cat-and-mouse chase across Europe, echoing the suspense of the 1973 film.
