**New York, NY – November 18, 2024** – Former UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic announced his retirement from mixed martial arts following a third-round stoppage loss to Jon Jones at UFC 309 on Saturday night. The 42-year-old fighter, who hadn’t competed since 2021, declared, “I’m done. I’m hanging ’em up. I’m retiring.”
