Mon Nov 18 06:20:00 UTC 2024: ## Cobra Kai’s New Villain: Lewis Tan Brings Martial Arts Expertise and Star Power to Season Six

**Los Angeles, CA** – Lewis Tan, the martial arts expert and rising star, is making waves as Sensei Wolf in the final season of Netflix’s hit show *Cobra Kai*. The second part of season six introduces Tan’s character, a formidable new adversary who clashes particularly with Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka).

Tan, whose family boasts a rich history in martial arts and entertainment, brings a unique blend of experience to the role. The son of a retired fashion model and a Chinese Singaporean martial artist, stunt coordinator, and actor, Tan began his martial arts training at a young age, honing his skills in Taekwondo, kickboxing, Muay Thai, jiu-jitsu, boxing, MMA, and various weapon styles.

His acting career has spanned numerous projects, including prominent roles in *Mortal Kombat* (as Cole Young), *Shadow and Bone* (as Tolya), and *Wu Assassins* (as Lu Xin Lee). He’s also set to appear in *Copperhead* and *Mortal Kombat 2*, and recently wrapped filming on *Deadpool and Wolverine*, where he played Shatterstar alongside Ryan Reynolds. While he found the large contact lenses required for the role challenging, he fondly recalled an amusing off-set encounter with Reynolds, where they awkwardly met properly for the first time, both without costume.

Beyond his on-screen success, Tan is a vocal advocate against racism, sharing personal experiences with the issue and encouraging unity and love as a means to combat it. His dedication to martial arts and acting, combined with his powerful message of fighting intolerance, makes him a compelling figure both on and off the screen. *Cobra Kai* season six, part two, is currently streaming on Netflix.
