**KALABURAGI, November 18, 2024** – A Kannada play titled “Bob Marley from Kodihalli” will be staged at the S.M. Pandit Ranga Mandir Auditorium in Kalaburagi on Wednesday. The production, a joint effort by Kalaburagi Samudaya and Rangayana, features artists from the Bengaluru-based Jangama Collective.
The play, directed by K.P. Lakshman, draws inspiration from the life of Bob Marley but tells the story of a Dalit youth navigating the challenges of urban life. The one-and-a-half-hour performance will showcase the talents of Mariyamma Chudi, Chandrashekar K., Shweta Rani H.K., and Baharat Dingri. Dattatraya Ikkalaki of Kalaburagi Samudaya and Sujata Jangamshetty of Kalaburagi Rangayana announced the upcoming performance at a press conference on Monday.
